  12. Got this one right off - the idea at least. great image, I love the green painted brick and the chimney that needs tuck-pointing - I failed to bring these elements into it - but it is there for others and I may expand on the three verses as of yet.

  28. Congratulations! Tess. I've been on vacation in Tucson and have missed my bloggy buddies. Attended the GEM Show and brought back lots of goodies to play with. Love your photo for this one. So many thoughts hit me when I saw it, but this time it was a male essence that won out. I'm looking forward to reading everyone's offerings. I've missed you guys.

  32. For me this is my all time favorite prompt for the past (almost) year. I have lived in so many houses just like that one. The charms of houses like this can not be beat. LOVED IT! thank you

  33. This was an easy one for me. Based on a real person from my childhood. Great prompt.

    ReplyDelete
  34. My magpie was prompted by your paean to Edna dearest, finding my own feelings about Charles Bukowski related to your feelings about her. Sometimes the image itself is less prompt than your poetry.

    ReplyDelete
  35. For this one, I apologize to Mr.Schwarzenegger . . and . . . and . . . lots of other folk.

    ReplyDelete

  40. Tess,

This one was accruing over three sheets of draft. Bits and pieces that didn't cohere until now.

It managed to discharge itself, for which I owe M.T. its prompt!
