Happy Blog Anniversary! I am new to Magpie Tales, I am here by way of Angie Muresan's blog and decided that I wanted to join in on the fun! I love this - it really gets my writing juices flowing! :o) I am looking forward to writing many more tales!
Got this one right off - the idea at least. great image, I love the green painted brick and the chimney that needs tuck-pointing - I failed to bring these elements into it - but it is there for others and I may expand on the three verses as of yet.
Happy Blogoversary! I've been having a great time with your photos! They're beautiful and thought provoking. Thanks so much! http://lolamousedroppings.blogspot.com/2011/02/theres-something.html
Congratulations! Tess. I've been on vacation in Tucson and have missed my bloggy buddies. Attended the GEM Show and brought back lots of goodies to play with. Love your photo for this one. So many thoughts hit me when I saw it, but this time it was a male essence that won out. I'm looking forward to reading everyone's offerings. I've missed you guys.
For me this is my all time favorite prompt for the past (almost) year. I have lived in so many houses just like that one. The charms of houses like this can not be beat. LOVED IT! thank you
My magpie was prompted by your paean to Edna dearest, finding my own feelings about Charles Bukowski related to your feelings about her. Sometimes the image itself is less prompt than your poetry.
Our post is up. Oh, are we evil, or was it that photo that made us think of Thomas Kincaid that brought on our posting? Either way, it was fun and a great prompt
Oh boy I have a lot of Magpie reading to do this week. Had to share a thought. Wouldn't it be great if Magpie Tales could be published or made into a book for its anniversary? I would love to have a copy of that.
The snow is falling right now and I have to say it really is beautiful. I still hate the cold but the white stuff is gorgeous!
Yaaayyy... HAPPY MAG-Anniversary, Tess!! For me, this has been a joyride thus far, and I hope to keep riding it for a long long time to come!! Best wishes to you, my friend...
