I can't believe I am so quick off the mark this week! Lovely prompt Willow
I just commented on everyone's Magpies here so far. Please come see my Magpie, a fantastical one, at http://thelunaticsdiary.blogspot.com
I just saw the prompt and as I am going to be busy with the gardener all day tomorrow, I had to strain to produce my contribution here and now.It is midnight now and I probably won't sleep because my brain is still fizzing.
It's been a while since I wrote my last magpie, but now I'm back again, I just couldn't stay away :) A bit sad about the ones I missed...Great pictures as always Willow! Thank you!
Perfect image for the season!
Lovely photo, Willow. I'm glad to find so many others who love autumn as much as I do :-)
This is the first time I have done a Magpie, though I have known some people from other areas. I am looking forward to meeting people here. Nice topic, Willow.
This is something that I posted earlier and I may post another Magpie. I am little under the weather so this may have to do for this week.
Willow- your Autumn leaves are earlier than ours- today was warmer than usual..great image to write from!
lovely! the immediate thought is the Autumn Leaves jazz number.. :) will come up with something soon..
Missed last week :( Life has just taken hold of me and I'm so busy...need to slow down and enjoy the changing of the leaves before they all fall off and leave a barren wilderness.
Well... I was aiming for a little closer to the beginning of this, but work has been really crazy lately, leaving only limitted time to participate in blogland.I hope everyone enjoys this segment of Jack's tale.... had a tough time figuring how to fit this one into what I had already been working on.
One more before I go ....
Love the picture - realistic yet abstract. Thank you.
Autumn my favorite season, "natures second spring", a lovely and inspirational photo prompt.Joanny
Got something together. Sort of. Interesting pic, as usual. Thanks, Willow.
Mr Linky is stil ignoring my efforts. I had a ready made offeringHERE but as usual, Mr Linky didn't want to know...I can't for the life of me decide why he has problems with me on this blog, as on others, he accepts me with no problems...
Like the spider, I have tried and tried again, and I do believe this time it may have worked... We shall see, no doubt...
Dear Willow: Minor emergency. My post number 37 doesn't link with my blog; it just goes to a generic Blogspot location. 38 goes to my blog. I'd appreciate it if you could delete #37 and keep #38.
Splendid image,Willow!Mine is up here:http://myintuitivemind.blogspot.com/2010/10/magpie-35.html
Hi,Nice picture...Here is mine...
Your fine photo reminded me of something I posted a year ago (before I'd come across your site). It was one of my better efforts, so I linked to that. Thanks for the service you provide, Willow.
A spate of autumn is drowning the bloggosphere.Mine will be up tomorrow morning.
This one just made me want to have fun! Thanks...another opportunity.

I changed my link as I have a separate blog to post my poems and not sure if I linked correctly. Still waiting to see if it will work.
This prompt made me so happy. Don't see much color here in Central California so any opportunity to write it into my mind makes me smile and laugh! Read My Autumnal Magpie!

Phew! Just back from Somerset. A bit late....sorry.
Wind, leaves and hills go together ...
The selection of images are beyond beautiful...I can only speek for myself when I say they make we want to write. But then that is what you are so very good at! Thank you.bhttp://www.retireinstyleblog.comhttp://www.itcrossedmymindblog.com
Thanks so much, willow, for removing the bad link. Greatly appreciated.

What a perfectly wonderful fall picture!
Love the colors in this!
Wow this is filling up fast!
I often read here, but this is my first time joining the group. This is a double-decker - Poetry Bus and Magpie Tale.
Going on with the series of the mysterious couple...will the changing of the seasons mean a change in themselves? Your support is much appreciated as it gives me great encouragement and inspiration. Thankyou and enjoy (:
Superb prompt. Stimulating and would have made an excellent post in its own right.
Thanks, Dave, I took this photo through the skylights last October, after a particularly strong storm blew ginkgo leaves to the back of the house.
No problem, Mr. B! :)
Like Ms. Friko, my sleep doesget interrupted by creativity.Often when an idea begins togestate, I have to rise with justa few winks under my belt, and exorcise these demons ofprose, essay, and poetics. For those of you that may nothave read through the commentsover at the Manor on Willow'spoem, I remind you that mypiece, GROUT FISHING INAMERICA, is rife with humor, and should be read withtongue in cheek. And naive me, only todaydid I realize that on theMAGPIE lexicon, thecommenter YOU'RE NEXTis only a promptand not a person!
Great photography Willow, and wonderful prompt!Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! :-)
I'll never get through all of these! Not with the internet at this speed, anyway. Thanks for running these prompts.
