  3. I just saw the prompt and as I am going to be busy with the gardener all day tomorrow, I had to strain to produce my contribution here and now.
It is midnight now and I probably won't sleep because my brain is still fizzing.

  11. Well... I was aiming for a little closer to the beginning of this, but work has been really crazy lately, leaving only limitted time to participate in blogland.

I hope everyone enjoys this segment of Jack's tale.... had a tough time figuring how to fit this one into what I had already been working on.

  15. Mr Linky is stil ignoring my efforts. I had a ready made offeringHERE but as usual, Mr Linky didn't want to know...I can't for the life of me decide why he has problems with me on this blog, as on others, he accepts me with no problems...

  16. Like the spider, I have tried and tried again, and I do believe this time it may have worked... We shall see, no doubt...

  17. Dear Willow: Minor emergency. My post number 37 doesn't link with my blog; it just goes to a generic Blogspot location. 38 goes to my blog. I'd appreciate it if you could delete #37 and keep #38.

  44. Like Ms. Friko, my sleep does
    get interrupted by creativity.
Often when an idea begins to
gestate, I have to rise with just
a few winks under my belt,
    and exorcise these demons of
    prose, essay, and poetics.
For those of you that may not
    have read through the comments
over at the Manor on Willow's
poem, I remind you that my
    piece, GROUT FISHING IN
    AMERICA, is rife with humor,
    and should be read with
    tongue in cheek.

    And naive me, only today
did I realize that on the
    MAGPIE lexicon, the
    commenter YOU'RE NEXT
    is only a prompt
    and not a person!
