  12. Berowne was a lovely, kind person. I didn't know him very well, but when he left comments he was always very polite and had a gentle sense of humor. The world is always a sadder place when someone like him departs.

  13. Happy New Year all and many happy returns. I'm sad to hear about Berowne and surprised as well. He was an interesting fellow and a great writer. Tess, thanks for letting us all know about Berowne and for 300 wonderful Magpie prompts. This is a fun place filled with clever and sparkly people, some of whom are sadly no longer with us. :-) :-(

  14. I love the images you provide and hope to contribute more this year. I'm not as prolific or as skilled as most of the contributors - you have some really great writers here.

  25. A great milestone for you Tess. My writing escapades have dwindled in recent weeks with end of year school pressures + Christmas, so only now I feel as if I am levelling out and seeking some writing sustainance.
Sad news about Berowne. An extraordinary mind always active in an extraordinary man.
