I'm a little surprised at being number 2, the picture spoke to me this time I love writing about rain. Happy New Year everyone can't wait to read this week! I know you're busy Tess, but you've been missing my writes lately I hope you can visit again soon.
Oh my goodness, I just read the note above about Berowne passing. Wow, I always saw his comments on here, others blog and mine and his blog was always busy with information and quizzes. Just wow, I pray for comfort for his family.
Berowne was a lovely, kind person. I didn't know him very well, but when he left comments he was always very polite and had a gentle sense of humor. The world is always a sadder place when someone like him departs.
Happy New Year all and many happy returns. I'm sad to hear about Berowne and surprised as well. He was an interesting fellow and a great writer. Tess, thanks for letting us all know about Berowne and for 300 wonderful Magpie prompts. This is a fun place filled with clever and sparkly people, some of whom are sadly no longer with us. :-) :-(
I love the images you provide and hope to contribute more this year. I'm not as prolific or as skilled as most of the contributors - you have some really great writers here.
I shortened my poem this week, I decided I didn't like it as is. Then I saw the note about Berowne! It wasn't up when I first came through, he was a wonderful man and I'll miss him and his stories! What a shock! Thanks for all your visits and kind comments Berowne! Big hug!
A great milestone for you Tess. My writing escapades have dwindled in recent weeks with end of year school pressures + Christmas, so only now I feel as if I am levelling out and seeking some writing sustainance. Sad news about Berowne. An extraordinary mind always active in an extraordinary man.
Happy New Year! Happy Magpie No. 300!
ReplyDelete300! That's quite an accomplishment ~~ Happy New Year!
