  4. I feel angsty, sad and in wonder after seeing "Silver Linings Playbook" - so my poem reflect both the photo and my emotional state.

Less technically, I enjoyed the heck out of writing it. THANK YOU, Tess!

  7. This one was almost difficult because it could go so many directions since I lover her family so much. In addition to seeing the great film about her dad last year, I also had the rare treat of seeing her mother perform live. At one point, Jane came into the audience, singing directly to random people in the audience. I was one of the lucky ones she chose, and it was a bit overwhelming to have such an icon of the 1960s inches away from me.

  9. Tess, thanks so much for sharing this particular picture. I'd been wanting to write about something for a few days but didn't know how to begin. This photograph stimulated just the opening I needed.

  10. It's my birthday today, so I was chuffed to see a music-related prompt, although it didn't end up quite as jolly!

Charlotte Gainsbourg is one of my favourite actresses. The Cement Garden left quite a profound effect on me back then! Thanks, Tess!

  16. This week’s photo reminded me of a picture of Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra, and the name of the magazine brought thoughts of AnOther world. The combined result made me grin ;-)

  25. This reminded me of an old story I never quite got around to finishing...so I finished it!
Hope it's not all a bit "northern". You can take the lad out of Lancashire but...well, you know the rest.
    Thanks for prompting Tess!!
