This one was almost difficult because it could go so many directions since I lover her family so much. In addition to seeing the great film about her dad last year, I also had the rare treat of seeing her mother perform live. At one point, Jane came into the audience, singing directly to random people in the audience. I was one of the lucky ones she chose, and it was a bit overwhelming to have such an icon of the 1960s inches away from me.
Tess, thanks so much for sharing this particular picture. I'd been wanting to write about something for a few days but didn't know how to begin. This photograph stimulated just the opening I needed.
This week’s photo reminded me of a picture of Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra, and the name of the magazine brought thoughts of AnOther world. The combined result made me grin ;-)
I don't know what happened with what I originally typed, apologies. That was meant to read - I don't know if my link worked correctly either and thank you for allowing me to participate in this prompt. :-)
This reminded me of an old story I never quite got around to finishing...so I finished it! Hope it's not all a bit "northern". You can take the lad out of Lancashire but...well, you know the rest. Thanks for prompting Tess!!
Happy writing, my friends...
