  5. Thanks for the prompt! I had never ever written on war and peace. This made me write on the topic I so wanted to but always ignored deliberately. And I'm glad. Thank you for that!

    Have a good day:)

  13. i wonder if birds
    ever wish
    to go like children
    into the garden
    hand in hand
    to dig worms.

  17. Beginning to wonder about my mind. Why do I always go to the darkest places with even the sweet and innocent prompts?

  19. Thanks for the great prompt, I liked it. Trying new format discovered at d'Verse Form for All. Trying to convey the subtle signals in holding hands!

  21. Thanks for this. I agree with Lydia, the simplicity of it was the challenge.

  22. Oops, everyone seemed to see sweet, innocent things from the prompt. I never read before I write so am afraid it prompted me to think of all the lost little souls that roam our great nation. So many, too many and sometimes it seems that nobody cares. God Bless our babies and love them one and all.

Thanks, Tess, for the prompt. I'm off to read everyone's offerings. Missed you guys!

  23. Hi Tess - I've been out for a while and I felt the prompt led in one direction, but I had another poem. So not sure it really fits, but thanks. Hope you've been well. k.

  24. Thanks for the prompt, Tess.
Although I had the best intention to write something soft and beautiful and tender, recent events tinted my poem dark, even after I colourised the prompt photo.

  25. Did you take this photo? It is sweet. I had an older poem that just seemed to fit perfectly. I remember my two oldest girls when they were 3 & 5 walking like this in pretty little dresses... :)
