  2. I apologize. Major screwup this week. I submitted my Magpie post and it seems to have disappeared into thin air. I can't find it. I'd appreciate it if you can erase me from position number 4. Thanks. Berowne.

  9. Credit where credit is due: The photo is from Toyko art exhibit called Ever mounted in 2010 by the contemporary German artist Boris Hoppek. My take is here.

  10. DCW, no, not my image. I wish it was. Unfortunately, I don't know the creator, to give proper credit.

  15. Haven't written anything, just had breakfast.

But the photo made me want to burst into song "If you knew sushi, the way i knew sushi, oh, oh, oh what a girl!".

    But I didn't.

  16. Awwww, man for some reason I did not see the caption under this pic so my Magpie is totally off. Maybe. Well, hopefully some will enjoy it anyway. :) Have a blessed week everyone! :)

  18. Ms. Geek...there is no such thing as "totally off"...don't let the photo credits have any sway on your creative juices!

  19. Hmm... This one will take some time to wrap my head around. (Or perhaps I am still trying to regain emotional control of my writing after my last poem, which took a lot out of me.) I will write soon, though!

  20. I think I "got" this one faster than any of the other prompts. :)

  27. Tess who is adept at finding the archetypal images
    Or do they find her?
Still, they are fussy and would only come the way of the pure of heart

  33. A Belated Happy 100th to The Mag, Tess. :)

I'm afraid mine this week is terribly convoluted....but it kept me out of trouble!

  34. Hi Tess, great photo, and I loved your poem, but took mine in a somewhat different direction, even changing mood of drawing a fair amount. Thanks, as always. K.

  37. Coming in a bit late on this one. Sharing a piece I've been pecking away at. A little out of my element on this, out of my comfort zone! Sort of felt the need to add a disclaimer, so here it is:
"This scene a dream; no afternoon foray…
the only way I stray is with word play!"

Thanks for the interesting prompt, Tess!

  38. This one was a challenge indeed....thank you Tess!! :-)
