Morning everyone! - it is Monday here and doing grey things like this picture, outside- Hope you all have a wonderful day.
I love the pitter patter of raindrops, so the picture makes me happy! Thanks Tess. :)
A quick poem of wet inspiration.
It's actually been raining here for two days, so...perfect!
Sorry for the double-post--I accidentally posted the wrong link in the first one. --Kristen McHenry
Just climbed on board Tess, early for a change!
This week's prompt was a reminder of one of my posts from two years ago. Hope no one minds the "instant replay." :)
We love instant replays, Rick.
No problem, Kristen. I removed your first link. :)
I seem to be having lots of difficulties with er Blogger - I have left 2 comments already and neither have appeared, AND most posts I try to look at never actually loaddear fellow Magpies, please don't be offended if I haven't made it to you yet - I am trying!

I stayed away from jokes, for once, tried a haiku or three instead.

Raining, snowing and thundering in NH. Just a typical April in New England.Hey I'm #50, and that's just nifty.
Happy to ponder this one!!
Tears bathe the soul, so I've been told.
Snow here thank heavens.
Will start reading others' works within the next two days - thanks again, for this. =)

Hi Tess — if you want to let your Magpie Tales contributors know, if they have the urge to write a poem each day during April, National Poetry Month • AND • they want to post a link each day of April to the poems they wrote — they are very welcome to do so over at Writer’s Island… certainly not at the exclusion of linking here weekly at Magpie Tales, but in addition to. We are NOT suggesting prompts during this NAPOWRIMO on the Island, but we are opening a “Free Write” post each day for the purpose of daily linking in April. If you don’t want to pass this along feel free to delete this from this comment section. Thanks Tess… :)
It's corny but it's up!

Oh Tess...how do you do this? Your photography is so powerful...it pulls me, propels me and tosses me into the air...This time I hesitated because the inspiration was raw....As always, thank you for the challenge...
