Mag is early this week? :-o Gosh, I wasn't ready.. off to think!
Willow, I've been a regular at Magpie since 2 months now... Any chance you making it twice a week? The site is such an inspiration for me.. especially for my haikus and Photoshop work! Thanks as always :)
A bit of concrete thought although the offset not exactly as I wanted it. Will try to configure. Running out of visual memory. What else is new! Hope you can figure it out nonetheless! :)
Linked an old one, but will have a new one on Tuesday (oh, yeah... gotta new one)!
I say "no" to more than one Magpie per week. People already have the option to interpret an image in more than one way, and you don't limit the number of entries we can have, so...
This is my first entry and I hope you enjoy it as I enjoy the works of writers art I found here.Such a beautiful picture, a muze I could not ignore neither wait to post on.
See,I waited too long to post at the last magpie, and that didn't feel that good at all ! But it is there to read too.
My post is ready!!! (Casta Zero) I couldn't wait for the weekend...the promt was way to inspiring. Thanks Willow! ps - more than one prompt per week sounds challenging but your pictures are so good that I am up for it!
I think one Magpie per week is good. People always have the option to use your wonderful prompt more than once. Your prompts are so good that I think just the one is perfect.
This week I decided to work on a short story that has been milling around in my noodle for a few weeks. I have decided to do it in parts. I hope you enjoy part one.
I hated missing #36 but am back for #37. Where I understand "Walnut and Pearl's" excitement, one per week is certainly sufficient...how would I find any extra time to read/comment on more than that from everyone?!
Hope everyone had a great week. The Mags would suggest that everyone had a perfect writing week. As always I am baffled, humbled and in complete love with the calibre of writers that come to Mag.
Willow, as always my dear, a profound and heartfelt thanks for being who you are.
To everyone else Be Inspired Today. Love and Light, Sender
what an awesome prompt!! I'm saving it for later...but I have a feeling already ;)
ReplyDeleteThis one stretched the imagination but that's all to the good!
ReplyDeleteLots of ways to go with this one...great prompt!
ReplyDeleteRinkly...i sent you an e-mail about how awesome I think you are.
Beautiful picture. I just discovered this site and I am already in love.

ReplyDeleteIt's cold enough this morning to make me wish I'd stayed in bed, so the prompt is paricularly apt! And for once, I think Mr Linky worked for me...
ReplyDeleteHi, This is my first at Magpie Tales. Had to do it at the spot, now or else... a week would pass me by and I'd wonder," Oh! that Magpie is gone?"

A bit of concrete thought although the offset not exactly as I wanted it. Will try to configure. Running out of visual memory. What else is new! Hope you can figure it out nonetheless! :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes...impeccable timing.
ReplyDeleteI'll take a double Magpie prompt each week, no problems, Willow :D
ReplyDeleteOne on Wednesdays and the other on Saturdays..
A short haiku... and hopefully time will lend to some moments for continuing Jack's tale later in the week. Enjoy all.
ReplyDeleteAn inspired and inspiring image. Thank you, Willow!

But that's just me.
I knew instantly what to do with this one.
ReplyDeleteUnlike Michael above I found this a hard one as I am neither a writer nor a poet but I have given it a go!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first entry and I hope you enjoy it as I enjoy the works of writers art I found here.Such a beautiful picture, a muze I could not ignore neither wait to post on.
ReplyDeleteSee,I waited too long to post at the last magpie, and that didn't feel that good at all ! But it is there to read too.
I thought of a mirror but one that saw things different that what they might be.
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to write two pieces. It's not my FAULT. The mirror made me do it.
ReplyDeleteA great prompt for Halloween!
ReplyDeleteOops, wrong time again. Better late than never.
ReplyDeleteAnd not a fairy tale this time.
I have reflected my poem in a letter
ReplyDeleteThanks!
This is my first Magpie Tale, and it certainly won't be the last. So inspiring!
ReplyDeleteNothing came through the window for me last week, but this frame is just what I needed. Thanks, Willow!
ReplyDeleteWalnut, the mirror? Hey, you're the one who wants a new 'pie every 10 minutes! hee-hee-hee!
ReplyDeleteAttempted a second poem... a second link to this one, but not sure it is posting here.... ???
ReplyDeleteWould love to see more than prompt per week, finding this very inspirational... Thank you Willow.

ReplyDeleteHere we go again..this was the most fun!!
ReplyDeleteI obviously just got in on the middle. Mind if I just follow along for a while?
ReplyDeleteI have been greedy this week doing two Magpies Tales

ReplyDeleteI never thought this picture would influence me and take me where it did!! Thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your prompts, Willow! One, two, three per week is fine with me. Doubt if I can participate in more than one, but would love to read those who do.
ReplyDeleteOh my god, this one was such FUN! Such fun... I wrote a short story, no french this time. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHope everyone had a great week. The Mags would suggest that everyone had a perfect writing week. As always I am baffled, humbled and in complete love with the calibre of writers that come to Mag.

I actually found this Magpie Tail quite a challenge... looking forward to getting some other peoples Magpies read this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteDidn't have a clue about this one, thought I'd pass on it, but woke up this morning to find that a verse - of sorts - had flown in during the night.
ReplyDeleteA simple thank you... Enjoy my friends.
ReplyDeletewoohoo... never been 100... rainy curtain
ReplyDeleteInsomnia...one of the great maladies.
ReplyDeleteFinally inspiration struck - another cracking prompt Willow...
ReplyDeleteI spend quite a bit of time on each Magpie post so I'm afraid that one a week is about all I could handle.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I added my name right at the beginning this is the first time that I have contributed.
ReplyDeleteoh my...difficult this week, too much reflection.
ReplyDeletenot very good this time but there it is.
ReplyDeleteThis was a tough one for me...but glad i did it...thank you Willow for another amazing prompt...hope everyone has a wonderful week!
ReplyDelete:-)

ReplyDeleteHi Willow, it's my first time posting. I've been inspired by two ladies who post here regularly. thanks so much for the opportunity to join in...
ReplyDeleteaudrey
EEK! I skipped a week! Back now...kinda...
ReplyDeleteOnce a week -- as Jeff mentioned you can enter more then one poem, you are only limited by your imagination.
ReplyDeleteSo many people post so early , it seems already like two or three. just my take.
I am just happy you do this even one time a week.
Joanny
My first post here, and really under the wire, inspired by stories of survivors of the Titanic. Thanks for the opportunity. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBrand new piece up. Just for Magpie Tales. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteBeen gone 3 weeks from Magpie, but stayed up late to get today's magpie baked by 8am.
A last minute attempt for me this week, but I like quick challenges. Good prompt to work with, Willow!
ReplyDeleteBlessed to finally have a job but the full-time student and full-time job schedule is taking its toll.
ReplyDeleteTimes till squeezed out for this. :)
