HI Willow, love the new look, I am really early this week, think it worked like therapy for me, lol, it typed itself, my one a bit lighter this week. Thanks for the great prompt.
I wrote a simple poem which is not easy for me, lol. I hope you enjoy. I could not link directly to the post so the correct post is entitled, "Me Time".
Nice new look to your blog Willow ... it's Moulin Rouge-ish ...very opulent! Will need to mull over the new Magpie...but I will give it a go! Have a great weekend :)
I got slap happy with this one Willow and just had to post 2 different prompts for this one...so I hope its okay if I did it from 2 of my blogs....cause I did...:-) By the way, I absolutely loved yours!
wowee...new look! I wanted to peek at what others had done, but following my rules- had to wait to read everyone's until I was posted! Thanks once again Willow!
I got caught out by you posting early, Willow. I tend to look for you on Thursday evenings and then have a mad rush to produce something instantly. Still, I had a go, and what I've posted is very close to reality on many occasions.
The new look is good, but the prior look blended your header more seamlessly -- but I understand the need to change things occasionally... your Magpie Tales continues to offer excellent inspiration Willow...
Apologies to anyone clicking my link - It seems to go to a religious webpage - I've tried twice to remedy it - very confused - hope its not permanent! Niamh ( Words A Day) http://niamhboyce.blogspot.com
Niamh, I tried replacing your links in Mr. Linky to see if that helped, but still get the strange religious site. I'm not sure how to tell you to fix it!
This Magpie was awesome!!! And although I was totally short of ideas when I downloaded the image, I ended up writing whatever I did in a matter of 45 minutes or so!!! The more I looked at the image, the more IT penetrated my mind :)
Here is what I came up with... Enjoy it, while I begin my Magpie reading expedition :)
Well, Magpies of Willow Manor, I am just a newbie, drawn here by the Muse Friko, but I like a poetic or prose challenge, and this workshop, this platform seems an apt one for me. Hope to join in on some of other Willow challenges on this mingling of poetics and minds. It is ironic that I post at the last gasp on the last day.
Okay, I'm early this week! So, you've got a little extra time on Mag 28. I've been playing with the templates today. Hope you like Maggie's new look!

ReplyDeleteJeff, your "old" ones are marvelous.
ReplyDeleteDear Willow,
ReplyDeleteLOVE the new look.
I am afraid, this magpie ruled me. I kept thinking bliss, but my fingers typed something I did not like very much.
The more I wanted to steer away, the more stubborn the poem got and finally, the poem won...
Love your new very swirly, twirly, girlie look!
ReplyDeleteI posted a little haiku....
Well, hope it's not too girlie, because I don't really like "girlie"!

ReplyDeleteNice look. I wouldn't mind this for efficientagony. Problem is that I use color on the text and the standard templates screw that up.....
ReplyDeleteRick
This template reminds me of the plater work in my childhood home. It was a creamy white on sky blue.

I got caught out by you posting early, Willow. I tend to look for you on Thursday evenings and then have a mad rush to produce something instantly. Still, I had a go, and what I've posted is very close to reality on many occasions.

I really got a kick out of so many of you thinking the faucet looked like a weird snout!! I'll never look at it the same way again!!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry I am late my site was done and the spicket does look like a snout LOL! But it made for a great prompt!
