Happy New Year! Happy Magpie No. 300!
300! That's quite an accomplishment ~~ Happy New Year!
Does anyone else save their Magpies? 300? Wow! Happy New Year to all contributors!
Yes I save my Magpies! I started on Magpie #13....it's been a few years! Only have missed a few! Cheers! And thanks Tess for all these years of fun!
I'm a little surprised at being number 2, the picture spoke to me this time I love writing about rain. Happy New Year everyone can't wait to read this week! I know you're busy Tess, but you've been missing my writes lately I hope you can visit again soon.
Opps! Number 4 without reloading I guess no worries happy to see more!
Happy New Year 2016, Tess and Ronaldo! Just got back from winter holidaying and am severely jet-lagged. I'll have to think on this one - cheers
Happy new and all that...haven't felt poetic yet in 2016 until this prompt, thanks Tess!
Muddle In My Puddle
Oh my gosh, he was a lovely, lovely fellow magpie. : (
Oh my goodness, I just read the note above about Berowne passing. Wow, I always saw his comments on here, others blog and mine and his blog was always busy with information and quizzes. Just wow, I pray for comfort for his family.
I just found out today...truly sad...
I'm so sorry to hear that. How sad!
Berowne was a lovely, kind person. I didn't know him very well, but when he left comments he was always very polite and had a gentle sense of humor. The world is always a sadder place when someone like him departs.
Happy New Year all and many happy returns. I'm sad to hear about Berowne and surprised as well. He was an interesting fellow and a great writer. Tess, thanks for letting us all know about Berowne and for 300 wonderful Magpie prompts. This is a fun place filled with clever and sparkly people, some of whom are sadly no longer with us. :-) :-(
I love the images you provide and hope to contribute more this year. I'm not as prolific or as skilled as most of the contributors - you have some really great writers here.
I was sad to hear Berowne passing... so much I enjoyed with his blog. The image really brought some dark writing from me...
....oh...I think he was unique ...rest in peace Berowne!
Congratulations on 300 mags!
I shortened my poem this week, I decided I didn't like it as is. Then I saw the note about Berowne! It wasn't up when I first came through, he was a wonderful man and I'll miss him and his stories! What a shock! Thanks for all your visits and kind comments Berowne! Big hug!
My condolences, as well, to all who knew Berowne...may he rest in poetic peace. And Tess...a milestone, indeed, is #300. Congratulations. I shall return with a link.
May Berowne be long remembered by those who loved him. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
I will miss Berowne - I wrote a small tribute to him on my blog "Farewell - Final Bow" on 12/29/15. He had an amazing life and loved the theater.
RIP Dear Berowne. You will be remembered and missed here.
My heartfelt condolences. RIP Berowne.
Oh, that makes me sad to hear that our friend passed away. Such a lovely gentleman he was.
We will miss you Berowne!! :-(
That is very sad news about Berowne. May he find peace and poetry in the afterlife.
A great milestone for you Tess. My writing escapades have dwindled in recent weeks with end of year school pressures + Christmas, so only now I feel as if I am levelling out and seeking some writing sustainance.Sad news about Berowne. An extraordinary mind always active in an extraordinary man.
Sorry to learn about Berowne. Will miss him and his comments...Wish you a Happy New Year, Tess.
So sad to here the news about Berowne. :-(
What? Berowne died? Ooooh.... :(
