I took this photo this week in my local Dublin Ohio cemetery...
Mine's up. :)
I accidently did 2 links. No #9 is the good link. So sorry Tess! I am happy to be done so early!l I did an acrostic form hope you like it.
Feels nice to play again! Thanks for photo, Tess! x
Whoah!!! this one was tough !
I have been away for sooo long. Hi everyone!
As I said, I have been away for sometime. I just noticed that Anthony North has not been writing for months. Any news anyone?
What an image for inspiration ...thanks Tess and have a lovely week.
My first attempt was about moths - lol. then I looked more closely - doh!
Great pic. Thanks.
At first glance I thought of moths, but looked more closely at the photo. Good challenge, Tess.Mine is up at: http://purplepeninportland.wordpress.com/2014/10/20/mothers-oak/
This particular image struck a very personal note with me. Afraid I had to go where the words took me. Thanks though, for providing this image.
Mine today, is like a woody nightshade, (or bittersweet) tale..... had to tell it like my feelings wrote, this day.
We all love our moms, me in particular. She loved me beyond all reaches of anything!
I had cause to make a poem for my true father earlier today. The well from which we draw ourselves is deep, deeper than we casually grasp and yet the waters seem easy to move. This proved to be a refreshing surprise, and as typical of challenge, resulted with more questions than answer.
Here earlier than usual for me....hope everyone has a good week. Thanks Tess...and do hope you had a lovely birthday. :-)
That's my mother alright. A grand slam of a prompt!
A lovely photo. I did link my mother and moths together. Don't you wonder what damage breathing mothball fumes did to us all?
Thanks for the prompt...an opportunity to post again my tribute to my Mom...
Lovely lovely post. I wrote about the choice of being a mother. Please do check it out!
Thanks for the opportunity.I wrote a poem about how much I miss my Mom...
Late but better than never...the beautiful prompt inspired me to come with this. Hope you will like it. http://www.numerounity.com/2014/10/mother.html
