This image evokes otherworldly places, in-between places and all sorts of yumminess... ;-)
I used this prompt to play around with a style of poetry I'm trying to become more familiar with. Thank you for the wonderful visual inspiration.

Wow Tess this is a wonderful painting to become inspired.
Well that was very hard..my short-lived career at attempting poetry looks just that! I will rest a bit before cruising around!
Happy writing my friends...
This is such a dreamy sensation, I had to put life to it, even though this is my vacation week and I wasn't planning on doing my usual posts! I couldn't resist this!

Love this one. I shared it with my students along with Van Gogh's. Got good discussion and good writing from them. Thanks for this.

Kudos to Alex Ruiz for this beautiful painting!I now have a beautiful poem for this prompt. Hope you like it :)
Coming into this quite late. Had seen the photo earlier this week, and on drive home from work tonight this poem started to rattle around in in my head, recent news and losses still being fresh in my mind. The music added? I felt the "lonely & blue" reference worked with not only the image but also a bit with the news story in reference. Thanks for the beautiful image to work with, Tess. (Working tomorrow, but will pop in and out when I can and try to catch up on commenting!)
I've posted my poem. This was a lovely prompt, thank you.
I forget to say, I'm here, I'm here!
I broke a rib last week so haven't written much. I am trying to pick up. Tomorrow is Sunday already and I wrote 234 and I have one to pick up. So sorry!
