You always find such intriguing pieces of art to respond to. Thank you!
Happy writing friends...
This pic screams of a larger story. All I could think about was how she isn't looking back at him! Great prompt!
looking for summer... all set up for camping... and picnics.. Blesses Sunday everyone!..JJRod'z
I wrote a poem last night and that fits this picture perfectly....!!
Have a great morning everyone! Be back this afternoon to visit!
Two visits to my blog for me today - an early one to say I'd be back here later - and here I am!
I am back after an interruption....a long one, but feels good to be here again!! Loved the prompt picture today and could not resist!!
Hi,I like this painting a lot. Just want to say the last name of the artist is Petrov-Vodkin; the etymology must have something to do with Russian vodka, rather than "voda" which means "water" :-)Have a wonderful Sunday,Sasha
This was awesome Tess. ThanksHugsSueAnn
Tess- you picked the perfect image for today! Have a great week!
this painting kinda creeps me out so this week i'm going to pass :) see y'all next week!
How could things go awry on such a beautiful day in Khizi?
got me thinking....xx
Great Spring picture, when a young man's fancy and the young girls are even fancier.
Thanks for the prompt, I'll be back when I can to read everyone's verses!
Another week...another challenge...thank you, Tess!!
This is such an interesting painting ... at first, I wrote to her detachment , but when I look at the year it was painted, the French colors and think on what was to come in the next few years, that cliff made more sense ... perhaps I'll have to re-visit or perhaps I'll have to stop thinking so much!
Excellent choice of image. Great Tess, thanks.
Sorry Tess and all - my first link goes to the National Poetry Writing Site instead of my blog. I didn't realize it until someone mentioned it to me. I guess yesterday was "one of those days"!
Thank you for this prompt... I'll be around later today to read and comment. It is so fun to see how others "take off" with the same image and land in an entirely different place. :)
Fabulous prompt. The picture spoke of troubled love to me - and so it wandered that way and up that hill.....!
Happy writing indeed, not so happy springtime though! In truth, no spring in my land!
Rambling crap... I do that from time to time.
Thanks for the introduction to this artist, whose work I was not familiar with.
Mine is up - I forgot to link it in!
Thank you so much for the prompt. I am so glad to be finally able to join the party again. :-)
