Happy writing, my friends!
Nice one :-)I've always liked the Doctor series.
Now I know why you said you felt a cold coming on on FB!
I'm still coughing...hack...wheeze...
Be well soon Tess, thank you for your work even through illness. This was at first a bit difficult. However as I allowed it to unfold somehow the current election cycle influenced my words.
i love the old dutch masters...the yellow the blue...gorgeous!!xx
Hi Tess and everyone...the painting was so appropriate this week - it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and my dear friend has just starting her fight this week. None of us are immune. I'm hope you get over your illness too:)
More than several friends and relatives have battled breast cancer ... I've lost three dear friends. Thank you for bringing attention to the cause!!!
I couldn't be too serious this week. It's a wonderful painting, full of possibilities, but there could only be one thing bothering this poor woman.
stunning image for this week Tess-thanks!
Another good pic to create with Tess, thanks!
Sorry you have a cold? Thanks for the post-
Greetings, finally a Sunday that I can post on time! What a lovely painting to have for inspiration too!
Wonderful painting..inspired! Kick the cold to the curb!
Tess, As so often, 'Yo da inspiration'.Truly
It is my first time here so I am not sure of the rules, but thought I would post anyway--a very quick piece from me tonight I am afraind
This one took me in so many directions!! HaHugsSueAnn
i can't seem to leave a link - sorry, but my story is up
Not quite the NHS...
The good doctor pays a house call and took me also in a different direction. I wrote one yesterday and pondered it all night and posted this morning.
Sick Woman - how much I could do with a painting with that title!!! My life, encaptured!! I had to respond with a poem :) xxxx
Wools! I'm up. This one wasn't as easy as I would have expected. But I'm there, huzzah!
Ok, finally I'll play doctor too. I agree with Irish Gumbo though, this one wasn't easy!
Ha! I looked at the prompt yesterday, but felt like that woman, so I put it off until today when I could chuckle over it ... no serious write, but it was fun. Thanks, Tess! Hope your cold is fading ...
Hi Tess - I'm sorry I missed a couple of weeks - both times I had strong ideas of what to post, but time just ran away with itself (and me), and couldn't quite manage it. Anyway, enjoyed this one - something struck my eye, which I think you'll enjoy. Hope all is well. k.
My second Magpie on my book blog, which shall poetry as well!
gave it a shot
I decided to give this one a shot, concentrating mostly on that little smoking box on the floor. ;)
Running short of time this week, more so than usual, so I took the rather predictable option...Thanks for hosting and the creative goad!
Am enjoying all these prompts! Thanks!
Prose today. No poetry in this image for me.
Another great prompt Tess....hope you all have a wonderful week! :-)
Running along behind, as usual. Multi-faceted prompt, thanks Tess.
Lately Tess my muse has abandoned me... nothing resonates with my soul, no images spark or inspire, there is only a quiet apathy and mild confusion. So I withdraw and seek solace, look for something to move me -- in truth, look for nothing, hoping in the not looking, I can find...
I'm a bit late too. The need for sleep sometimes overtakes everything else......but love the prompt!Anna :o]
Thanks again for the brain freeze and subsequent fretting. But I think I finally found a version I like well enough. :) I'll be back later tonight to read the rest.
I'm late because I'm sick! But I did not write about my illness!
Place your hand on my sweaty brow Full of fever that burns deeper than your hand can touch.Look at my scarlet skinA red that screams louder than a stop lightListen to my chest while I breatheHear the struggle that’s happening inside meLet the aroma of my medicine flood your mindThe smell of my pain overwhelms my curePlease, Please taste my lips with yoursWe both know that’s what I need to be better.
