Oooh, interesting pic. I have to do a serious one and a fun one I think!
Hi Tess--this raises many ideas--in my case of bad experiences at weddings! However, I am in such a deep pit of work and overdue work and more overdue work and other responsibilities right now (I'm sure we all are) but this seems especially acute for me this week, I've posted an older poem that fits, but not as much as I'd like. It's an okay poem though, and thanks much for the opportunity. (PS - I liked yours very much--musical chairs is a potent image.) K.
Ugh, musical chairs. Thanks for the challenge, Tess. : )

Well the day has arrived, week 12 for LOVE HURTS, as the denouement rolls in hot; only three months to complete the epic cinemagenic poem.
Mine is a prose poem.
It's been a while for me, it feels great to share again.
I haven't played for awhile either, but this is a picture that's hard to ignore.
Mine this week is perhaps the most sobering I've posted here. Thanks, Tess, for the opportunity.
oh my.im gonna need to marinate on this one for a little bit.
Very late this week, but I have been celebrating my UofO Ducks dominating victory in football over the Stanford Cardinal...
"Mist"erious picture, full of possibilities. Thanks Tess.
Fascinating image, that brought my magpie to mind quickly this week. I love it when that happens.
I have set aside a blog for this sort of excercise. This is the first of them
Nice prompt. I looked up the image, and found that it's by Rosie Hardy...Cheers,Arnab MajumdarScribbleFest.com
I saw this prompt on the train ride home from work tonight. It touched the magical mystical parts of my imagination. I really enjoyed writing the story. Thank you for a beautiful prompt. :)
Really struggled this week, just a few lines...Jamie
I have only read a few, but the quality has left me speechless. Another terrific prompt from Magpie Tales

Beautiful photo prompt
Thanks Tess. I never read any of the Magpies or other challenge poems before I write, but I see that I coincidently chose "musical chairs' as mentioned in one of the comments above. Oh, well...love the picture.
Hi ,Thanks for the prompt..
Seats to seat and to unseat...
Very potent this one: suggesting many lines of thought.
This is my first time contributing to this blog. It was fun!
Lovely glow to this one Tess!
I'd thought I'd take a humourous approach this week! I did get rather sodded-off by the glitch in my post-must be the hasty-pudding club! Oh well...there's always next week! Chiccoreal
Nice prompt Tess; I leaned toward the mysterious
Lovely sense of the mystic in this photo. I've been brooding on it all week.
