Brigid, actually it is pieces of art glass suspended on wires from the ceiling. I stood in this room at the museum, transfixed.

Dreams of flight, from pithacantrapus erectus to a Dublin lass adrift in thesummer in Ohio, this one pulls usoff our feet, and put me in the stratosphere.

Fabulous prompt, Tess. It reminded me of something in An Unfittie's Guide before the old unfittie here got Writer's Block. I'm sure glad there are writing memes to help get me back on track. Thanks!K

Wonderful picture! JJRod'z
Thank you Tess for the opportunity and also to those first poets here that I read. For I am not sure if the prompt or their poems inspired me ... maybe both.
This is the first time I've joined in on this-- thank you! It was a fun little project. (The glass installation is gorgeous, btw-- would dearly love to see it in real life!)

I have to thank you for this one, Tess. A great prompt when I needed it the most. Happy 4th.
Had me stumped for a while... but better late than never, right?
I was in Murano last September and watched the glass blowers at work. It is no surprise that this artist was born there, the colourful work is typical of the Island. Lovely picture and beautiful glass work. Blessings Tigerbrite.
This is a beautiful picture. Mine is up with difficulty and if you do read it, you see what it did to me! I kid you not!
Hello Maggies! I hope that everyone has a happy and blessed fourth! :o)
Have a wonderful Fourth of July everyone. Happy holiday.
