Why weren't men called tomatoes?
such a misunderstood fruit!
All four of my children were born in October ...I lived on tomatoes literally! For four summers.
I can't believe it myself, but I will have something for "Tomato Plant!" Shall link Tuesday.
My first effort at writing a story.I wish my outdoor tomatoes were as advanced as the ones in your picture.
Hi Willow, a lovely prompt, thank you, looking forward to reading all the Magpies this week

Mine is ready and waiting as soon as Mr. Linky comes back.
I deleted a comment because it sounded like I was complaining: I wrote a Magpie story only to learn that the Mr Linky folks were out to lunch! :-)But these things happen. As usual, I welcome the chance to take part and I join wih willow in the hope they'll be up and operational soon.
What a perfect summer prompt. Thanks.

I am late to the party this week but I hope to make up for that with my biographical, humorous and painful poem about tomatoes. I love the flavor but loathe what it represents in my relationship… My poem is simply titled “The Great Tomato Mistake”. I look forward to reading everyone’s Tomato inspired Magpies.

Hi Willow. It's like homecoming for me.

I wish my tomatoes looked like that!
What a bounty of fruit! We have had only one tomato so far, but it was delicious. Maybe we will have a late harvest.
So many posts about the romance of the tomato. I guess I took it in a different direction.
Better late than never...thanks for the challenge.
