Gosh, I'm always amazed at how stinkin' fast you guys are! You go girls!
This one's gonna be fun!
I thoroughly enjoy the prompts here. Very inspirational for me.
I'm on official Living Boldly break .... but can't resist your photo prompts!
Not sure what this photo inspired, but it just shot out of me, and I went with it...fun prompt - thanks!- Dina
Great prompt willow. Loving the new header photo.
Thanks! I thought it was time to give The Mag a little makeover.
I decided I have a story here. If you click the links in the vignette, it will all make sense....
As that makes me think of Peter Pan, I've got another oldie! And, as usual, I'll see what I can cook up.
I'm so jealous of all you wonderful writers who can see an image like this and have a story spring to mind. Maybe someday my fiction writing muse will awaken. Meanwhile, I do enjoy yours.
I am really starting to enjoy writing a weekly magpie tale. Thank you Willow!
Enjoyed thinking and writing this one.... thank you for the challenge....bkm
Willow, my link is messed up..how can I fix it?
--perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub, For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
Willow, I love this bust. Love it! Please tell me about it. You know, the posts I read took it as a horrified expression. It doesn't strike me that way. I don't know - she's obviously more than just surprised, but I love it somehow. I'd live with it and look at it every day if I could.
This is my second magpie tale. It's fun and challenging at the same time. Thanks.
Relyn, I bought this metal bust in an antique shop in Marion, Ohio, about 20 years ago for $15. Like you, I was drawn to her. I did some research and found that she was originally wired as an electric cigarette lighter, with the lighting mechanism in her mouth. I've always thought she looked as if she was singing.
Suz, not to worry! I'll fix it for you!
willow, was wondering how to get the text to add the magpie to my blog....thanks...you can email me at email@example.com
cool image ..... definitely got my imagination going :)
This one just flowed out of me! I knew what the story should be as soon as I saw it. I LOVED this picture Willow! Thank you!!!!
Thanks for the prompts; for sharing your photography and for stirring our creativity.
Alright willow, my magpie is up.

Couldn't resist this one. But I can't get the link to work. DUH!

Willow, Thanks! A cigarette lighter? UGH
This message is for Inkblot - when I opened your blog, somehow my computer got into a loop, re-opening again and again - no amount of 'closing' stopped the loop. Now I'm afraid to open and read your post - maybe you want to check that out!
Definitely I see someone singing...ahhhhh....in the key of g. Very Maggie-ish!
She reminds me of singing in choir as a child.
Thanks for goading so many people into such good work!I'm going to have to get my act together and join in on another of these, they're tremendous fun.
Happy to inform you of my submission, "The Look of Wonder." Thanks for the challenge, Willow.
