Oh boy Willow!
Hi Willow,I just posted about the big one: entitled 'Catch and Release.'
Love this one! Fish are so rich symbolically. Hope to get back into a magpie mode this time.
Hi Willow and Everyone,Oh Boy is right! Thanks Willow for giving all of us this wonderful venue and thanks everyone for all your much appreciated kind words ....
Must confess, I have a little addiction to your Magpie prompts!
Glad to have another chance at a Magpie prompt.
Thank you for providing a wonderfully inspiring photo!- Dina
It's certainly my pleasure! I'm enjoying this just as much as you are! Mine fell together quick and neat this week.
done for this week
Hey guys! I just did another haiku this time. I was going to do some sort of poem of 3 lines per stanza, but then I just wanted to stick with one theme. I hope you all enjoy it!

This image immediately transported me to another era in my life...thanks!
This time Magpie Tales shall be in French. See you Monday on Tittle....
Willow: How symbolic are fish to the fisherman? There's a whole lot of fish tales I can tell. A whale of a good time!
amazing where a fish tale can take you...
Every week these prompts just keep getting better and better.
Hi Willow,This prompt had real childhood memories for me.Lots of fun...Thanks so much .
So I got a bit brave...I have two blogs and I posted it on both...a bit of my snark might have oozed out on this one. ;-)http://www.jadedheartstillbeats.blogspot.com/ and http://www.ablogoddesstale.blogspot.com/
hey willow - so my contribution to this "magpie" is actually from a guy i met at a party - his wife is a teacher at the school my wife is principal of. i hope that's not cheating! steven
I participate in several of these poem-inspiration communities. But Magpie Tales is by far the best. The pictures are always stunning (which is itself wonderful) and they never feel random (like some other blog-poem-things do. Also while I know many of you also play with some of the other communities, this one seems to have the best group of writers as well.I just want to thank you all for this most blessed group.
This was fun!!!
Thanks for stirring me to think about dead or artificial fish.
One Summer, I watched my Dad fish by the river. It still is one of my favorite memories of him.
Loved this one!
Thank you, Willow. I am enjoying this so much I made a new blog just for Magpies: http://rodeozmagpie.blogspot.com/
I've just discovered Magpie Tales (thanks to Blogoddess!) and it's magic!
Oh, the agony!! LOL. These photos get more challenging every week!
Fun, as usual..thanks!!

Hey Willow! Hope you're having a fab week! Just put mine up, it's called 'Junk Fish.' Cheers!
Angling for more fish stories? I can't wait to read the rest of the catch!
Thanks so much, Willow for the weekly challenge. So glad to be a part of this and all the wonderful words!
Willow, this is such fun!
Darn - I lost my draft! I'll try to get one up today, but it will be late - I just liked the prompt! Looking forward to checking out the others.
Spent too much time thinking about this before I sat down to write. When I did it just came since I had been cleaning my fish pond this morning. I'm up there.QMM
Much too late to catch the Magpie wave - but I couldn't let the prompt go so I posted!
