Another great week. I am a little upset because my muse is giving me a hard time. Lol! I tried and that's what counts. Looking forward to other writes. <3
Brought up some interesting concepts. The poem I want to write for this needs a better poet. I can't do it justice, but I got the building blocks roughly in place. Must. Do. More.
I began with the first Magpie for several years, but for various reasons (work, mainly) haven't participated for many many months. Here is one I just wrote tonight for an autumn photo I took yesterday. I like it with this Magpie!
Though I certainly like the prompt, it was not easy...must be nearing November? And still toasty-warm in Naples FL. Anyway, I feel like I built a child's playhouse with this poem, i.e., no paint, no lumber, actually a fairly rough-edged story, flimsy at best. (sigh) BUT IT WAS FUN!!!!!!
Thanks Tess...x
