  3. Thank you for such an adorable pup, and inspiring photo. I could create just fine from a room of that nature.

  4. I had to go with a silly write this week! The image was perfect for it. I gave it a shot and could not find who did the prompt. I apologize for last week I was very busy and didn't get to visit many people's works but this week I will, promise!

  5. I know who that dog is! That's Tilly and she belongs to Terry Wildling, an amazing artist and writer whose work revolves around fairy tales. Her blog is here and if you scroll down, you'll see Tilly on the same sofa. http://windling.typepad.com/blog/page/4/

    2. And that should read Terri Windling, not Terry Wildling. Watching too much GoT. My bad!

  10. As someone dedicated to storytelling in all its forms, I feel honored that my studio (and our dog Tilly) appear here as a source of inspiration. The studio is a built on the side of a hill, next to a woods, in a small village on Dartmoor in south-west England. Half of it is set up for painting, the other half for writing & editing (though I often work at this couch, not my desk, so that Tilly can snuggle beside me). Here's a color picture, with the pup looking rather less noble: http://windling.typepad.com/BumblehillStudio.jpg

Thank you for your kind words about my work space.

    1. Hi Terri! Nice to meet you! I stumbled onto your uncredited photo in Google images. It does not surprised me one bit that you are an artist. Thanks for the use of the wonderful pic of your space. Glad we tracked you down!

  12. This week's picture was a head-scratcher for me. I wasn't sure what story I could come up with...and then like all inspiration. It struck me like lightning.
