This is my very first poem, EVER. As a singer, I consider myself an interpreter of poetry, but I've never attempted to write it (other than when I was a child in school and it was assigned). Please be kind. ;)
Was it just me, or did anyone else see this and feel that it was just screaming out to have a short video made with a Martian and soundtrack by Sister Rosetta Tharpe?
Sorry 'bout the dark nature of this one ... the voice just came to me ... and that sign ... and the 'why' of an empty apartment ... and looking up while passing by ... well, it just happened.
Hi there... Thanks again for sharing another beautiful prompt this week...I loved writing for this...do read my take and share your views..I would be glad to know more :)
Happy writing indeed. I'm late, but here, as my weekend was busy, and my brain was pushing me to write a completely different magpie, so I had to fight against that, when something inside was egging me on for what I posted! So enjoyable, when not only an idea but more arrive, instead of those weeks, when I draw a blank! Photo perfection this week.
Happy writing, friends...I'll be posting a bit later...
ReplyDeleteThank you. Have to think about this one!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Tess, for reminding me of a Paris apartment some years ago...
