Hi Tess, I really intended to go for serious as the image could certainly go in that direction, but then, after a few attempts, opted for the silly. (Comic.)
I loved yours. Bob Hope's nose certainly a pinnacle worthy of commemoration. Damon's too. K.
Ooh - copped out and hauled out an oldie that suited this prompt I think; am apologizing in advance for the length - have revised and revised but know it still needs chopping - really do love this image tho'
Wow - this one hit me right in the gut. I've been struggling with my human insecurity, my uncertainty, my arrogance of confidence... how apropos this prompt is for me this night, at this 2:00 AM hour...
Great minds on similar paths. Your prompt reminded me of mirrors in my past. And just this week I had taken a photo of a gazing ball in a friend's garden.
I used that image for my magpie this week. But it is all about mirrors and distortion regardless of which image - yours or mine.
Happy writing my friends...
ReplyDeleteblessed Sunday and great week ahead fellow bloggers...

ReplyDeleteOooh yea...should get lots of thoughts on this one.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe this is Mag 110.
ReplyDeleteA grey world sends me in search of colour...
ReplyDeletethis image took me to a dark place reminding me of an evil disorder that affected our whole family. Thankfully that person is gone.
ReplyDeleteNow, I shall have to dig deep in my imagination for a tale to fit this photo.
ReplyDeletemy first take after a long break from poetry...

Happy writing indeed! I tweaked an old poem and also found a second Duane Michals photograph that prompted a second, hastily written poem. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOkay, this will probably be my last. 18 doesn't work, so if you can delete it. I'm obviously all thumbs when it comes to making a link. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't think of anything until I saw the news this morning.
