  1. Great great image, Tess. (Only I probably can't find anything old to adapt.) Ha! K.

  7. Well, the subject of what is great art has been on our minds over at Pondering.

    A most interesting image. : )

  8. This image spoke to me of our final journey - but then again, I am deeply in touch with my mortality these recent months...

  9. I think it would be easier to look at this image if the person weren't so obviously old. Now it is almost unbearably sad.
I made the mistake of reading someone else's submission before writing mine, which I usually try not to do. However, I'll think of something soon, I'm sure. It's nice to be home with my big computer and able to participate again.

  12. Hi again Tess. I liked your poem very much, but ended up, myself, opting for silliness. My poem is not so great, but I have to say --and I don't mean to blow my own horn--but I have to say that my own visual take on your prompt turned out quite well. (I mean my composite drawing.) It's very silly, but well--that seems to be my strong point on the visual level anyway. K.

  14. I found this image quite disturbing - the hopelessness of it.

  15. A very powerful image which brought on some unusual melancholy. But poets are meant to be melancholy, aren't they?

  16. It's been a very grey and dismal day, which might explain this one.

  35. I looked at the prompt yesterday, thought no way, felt suffocated. I woke during the night and almost had to get up when thoughts of the image made me claustrophobic again. Then a phrase came to mind during breakfast - and I was in! Thanks, Tess.
