couldn't get the photo from here to my blog while using my little netbook, so wrote a small piece without it. might not be able to comment on others' posts, either, because this little computer is very slow, but I'll be home next week. Kay, Alberta, Canada
Hi Tess, a wonderful photo. I didn't really make use of the bricks and checks, which I regret, but could only do so much! (And didn't get enough time to edit either.) Oh well. I loved your piece. K.
I thought this prompt was great because despite my over-thinking nature, I was able to write about my initial feeling when I first saw this evocative image. Thanks. I'll be making the rounds shortly.
I only had to look out my front window for the inspiration to write this one. The only challenge for me was writing a poem instead of a story. It's "Hard rubbish" week this week in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne and the tree lined nature strip is covered in old sofa's, broken chairs and mouldy beds. Thank you for the fun prompt. :)
Happy writing my friends!
