  1. Number one twice. I used to have an apple orchard. And we would leave the apples on the very top of the trees from laziness. They would freeze and thaw and ferment before they fell. The birds considered them a great treat during January thaw. The Magpies, however, got drunk and silly.

  2. Missed number 7 again! Lol! I didn't get much out of his prompt until I started at it a bit then a Tanka came to me! I am really adoring these short forms right now.

    Last week I didn't get to visit and read much, I appoligize and will be around this week things have slowed down finally in time for Thanksgiving. Hugs!
